The Meds I'm On is a visual art exhibition about our personal experiences with, or observations of, medicine, aging, healthcare, addiction, self-medication, and other attempts, successes and failures for living healthier. With this as backdrop, Luke Erickson of Instinct Gallery will facilitate a panel discussion on the state and practices of medication in our society.
We are more than a little excited to have the following panelists for this conversation:
* Dr. Gregory Plotnikoff is a renowned integrative medicine doctor at the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing, Abbott hospital
* Kim Witczak is a drug safety advocate, national speaker, a producer/art buyer for corporations, and the founder of Woody Matters nonprofit.
* Joan Vorderbruggen is the Cultural District Arts Coordinator for Hennepin Theater Trust and a Licensed Practical Nurse with 17 years nursing experience.
* Maureen Milea Smith is an author, librarian for Edina Public Library, and was a personal caregiver for a family member for numerous years.
This exhibition is a venue for conversation about our personal experiences with, or observations of medicine, aging, healthcare, addiction, etc. Come think with us.
