Lynn Speaker is a mixed media artist who works with fire-based mediums and natural materials. Her drawings are remnants of place that rest between experience and memory.

 Speaker graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She is a recipient of a WARM (Women’s Art Resources of MN) Mentor Protégée Program Grant and a Blacklock Nature Sanctuary Artistic Residency Fellowship, both funded by the Jerome Foundation, and was awarded two Artist Initiative Grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board. Speaker was a Mentor in the WARM Mentor Program for 10 years and served as Program Coordinator for 2 years. She currently serves on the Board of the Grand Marais Art Colony, located on the north shore of Lake Superior.
